Has anyone succesfully installed a combination of Windows 2003 SBS + Exchange 5.5 on one server?
Based on the reasearch i've done, it would seem that Exchange 5.5 will not run on a Windows 2003-based server due to the Active Directory feature in Windows 2003-based servers. However i've come across some articles that tells how to 'tweak' the Active Directory settings to work for Exchange 5.5. Now what I would to know is: has anyone ever successfully installed Exchange 5.5 on Windows 2003 SBS?
My current setup is Exchange 5.5 running on Windows NT 4.0. I will be upgrading my DC to use Windows 2003 SBS and I would prefer to have Exchange 5.5 running on the same machine as the SBS, instead of running it on the NT 4.0 server. I am trying to avoid having to manage 2 different servers.
