Does Windows 2003 Server have Remote Web Workplace functionality.

I know that SBS Windows 2003 has it.

There are other solutions however. If you allow VPN access to your domain then your users can still remote control their PC via RDP provided they know the machine name.

It is not as clean/simple as SBS but it is doable.

The upcoming Medium IT server will offer this functionality I believe.

I hope you find this post helpful.

We currently use remote desktop over VPN for our Windows 2003 server. I thought it would be neat to have the Windows 2003 server use the web to connect to workstation.

It is possible, but a nightmare to manage. You would need to configure each PC to listen for a web connection on a different port number and then provide each use with their own connection string after installing the Remote Desktop Web Connection which requires IIS be installed on each machine.

I hope you find this post helpful.
