Hello,

I have a windows 2003 with a Real IP and IIS working (with 1 webSite and FTP service configured and running). I can connect to my server over RemotDesktop but if I try to access the website or the FTP from my normal computer typing the server's IP, it is not working.

I tryed to access the same website and the FTP from the server (using the RemotDesktop and typing the same IP) and it worked. I also checked that the ports 21 and 80 are ok! the firewall also is configured. Also I tested the connection between my personal computer and the server with the ping command it was ok.

My personal computer and the server are not connected by a local network

Am I missing something? Someone already faced a problem like this?

Thanks in advanced

Try execute telnet from your PC to your server onto 21 and 80 ports. Is connect succesful?

Also check the security settings in IIS and make sure that you aren't denying access.
