Hello,

I'm having trouble using the LPD daemon on windows2003. I have followed the exact same procedure that I used for windows 2000 with no success. Basically I need to print from unix machines via a windows print queue. I have done this by installing Unix Print Services, then sharing one of the printers on my server. When I use the lpq utility against my 2000 machine, I see the queue with no jobs. When I run it against my 2003 machine I get an error Specified printer does not exist. Is there anything different that needs to be done on 2003 compared to 2000.

E.g I've shared the printer on the 2003box as HPLaserJ

I then run the lpq utility
lpq -S 2003box -P HPLaserJ
Error: specified printer does not exist

Any Ideas anyone?
