I have Windows 2000 and whenever I enter an internet address in the address box and hit the go button or just enter, nothing happens.Any clues?

try pressing ctrl-o and enter the url then press enter and see what happens.

I tried restarting the machine but that was no help.I have a T3 running for internet access and the browser is IE6
