Hello.
I am new to this forum but have been using Director for years.
I have come across a problem though that I am not sure how to solve.
I have created a Projector which references a linked .wmv file. It
plays fine on Windows XP, but when the same projector is played on
a Windows 2000 machine, I get a red X where the video should be.
I checked Adobe's tech notes, and they have an update for Director
10.1 and Shockwave which is supposed to solve the problem. I installed
the update on my XP machine and re-outputted the Projector. The .wmv
file still doesn't play.
Has anyone on this forum run into this problem? Does the Windows 2000
machine need the latest Shockwave update? Any help on this would be much appreciated.
