This seems like a stupid question coming from somebody who works on computers for a living. I am trying to schedule defrag to run during the night using the task scheduler. I tell it to run the dfrg.msc program. It brings up the program, but doesn't automatically start. Is there a command line argument to pass the program so it runs automatically instead of waiting for input?

AFAIK you can't schedule a defrag with W2k defragmenter. You will need a 3rd party defrag program to do it...
