We are rolling out Windows SUS server to an NT domain and I have a question about reboots. If we haven't patched in awhile and a reboot is neccessary after a certain patch how is that handled. Are the reboots supressed until all the patching is complete or will the system be rebooted and then continue to install the patches upon next logon? I was told that the patches would be pushed out until a reboot was required and then it would reboot and those patches that hadn't been applied up to that point would be installed upon the next push (weekly per the way I have it set up).
Any assistance would be great. Thanks guys.

I think that what you were told is the way it works. as far as i can remember...

to a NT domain?

with GPO & 2000/3 you can set it for all PCs in one go...
