Hi, we have three file servers on our network running Windows 2000 Server.

Recently the Windows Update has stopped working on all three of them, it fails with an Error number: 0x800B0109.

I've seen various threads on this, about re-registereing dlls etc but nothing has worked so far. I'm wondering, as it's all three machines, whether something has happened with this particular OS and updating even though Windows 2000 with Service Pack 4 has Ongoing Windows Update support. Anyone else had recent problems with this?

Thanks

Dan

Not for anything as extended support for Windows 2000 has already ended (or close to it -- I don't recall) is it possible that you are unable to download updates because of this
