Windows 2000 Server SP2 Problems

Hi All,

Just a quick tip, we have just upgraded all our 2000 servers to SP2 and the backups started failing. The backup utility is ASO 7. We contacted CA about these problems and they highlighted the following .DLL that needed to be replaced.

asdbunix.dll

To replace this .DLL you need to perform the following:


1. Stop ASOservices
2. Rename asdbunix.dll in C:\ASO to asdbunix.dll.T2d2016.
3. Copy the new version of asdbunix.dll to C:\ASO.
4. Start up ASO.

We have done this and it works fine.
