How can we set permissions, so that users are able to:

-See folders and files.
-Open folders and files.
-Make new folders and files.
-Change folders and files.
-NOT DELETE FOLDERS AND FILES

It's and NTFS Directory Structure. I've gone into the advance button and selected allow all and left delete unchecked. still no luck. thanks for anyhelp

Have you tried not selecting Allow All and only ticking those that you want? I should imagine that that is the way to do it.....may well be wrong mind!

I have a network where everything has been applied to the default domain policy so now I have to try and get everything out of it and create some seperate policies where I can give certain user some right while lock down others better.

Any suggestions how to go about this?
