I'm trying to configure a windows 2000 server to become my internet conncection manager. the server is connected to a netopia 3300 series dsl modem via an ethernet connection. the server gets it TCP/IP setting from the modem via dhcp. the ip address range is 192.168.1.X, the sever can access the web no problem. for the complicated bit: there is a second network card with a static address. the server is configured for DHCP on this card. it feeds a switch with anumber of work stations on it. i need these workstations to be able to access the internet. i have tried using the RRAS console on the server to set up the routing but i must have a wrong setting somewhere. the workstation can see the modem and can resolve the web address but can't get any information back.

Please help ????

Also would like to setup VPN on the same server.

You should always use static addresses for servers.....

Are you using ipsec on the clients? Are you using NAT?
