I have a Windows 2000 Server connecting to a 2003 domain controller. I just moved this 2k server over to this new domain on the 2k3 server. Ever time we restart or start up a terminal service client it takes around 5 to 7 minutes for the server to go from the network logon to when i have control of the PC. Also i have noticed if i am on the 2k server and i am looking at security for that folder it takes another 5 to 7 minutes for it to bring up the users for that folder. If anybody has any clue to what this problem might be or even somewhere close to what it might be i would very much apperciate the help

Take a quick look at what gpresult would give you.

**Is there a domain trust in place?
**Are you logging in to the server with credentials from the new domain or old domain?
**Are there any services running under an account from the old domain?
