Hello Experts,

I have a Windows 2000 Server with SP2 which always reboots by itself once every day or once every two days. Event Viewer log says, "The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x0000001e (0xc0000005, 0xf5096d64, 0x00000001, 0x00000000). Microsoft Windows 2000 [v15.2195]. A dump was saved in: C:\WINNT\MEMORY.DMP."

I think it should not be a virus issue since the server has Norton Antivirus with the latest DAT.

I have searched a lot of forums and microsoft website but found nothing.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hmmmm. Possibly a service problem. Some services, when they fail they restart the server as a recovery option. Check that possibility. Steve Hewitt
