Hello everyone!

I would like to set up a remote access dial-in connection on our domain server running W2k SBS. I have a modem installed with drivers. I have set up RAS to make the server a Remote Access Server, chose TCP/IP protocol, selected an appropriate NIC, specified an address range to give out, and did not use RADIUS. The RAS service starts fine and looks OK, but when I try to dial-in, the line rings and rings, never picking up.

Have I done something wrong? I am new to remote access from the outside. Any help is much appreciated.

I solved the problem, it was a real brainbuster....someone had unplugged the phone line from the wall. Haha!
