When i join a new NT4.0 domain with my win2000 workstation all is OK, but i have problems to keep the local profiles i had when i connected on the old nt4.0 domain.

Did anyone could help me to resolve my problem

TIA for your help

Eric

Whenever you join a new domain (Win2K or WinNT) with a workstation (Win2K or WinNT) a new profile is created - ther eis no way around this. If you still can login to the old domain, do so and use "Start\Settings\Control Panel\System\User Profiles" to copy the profile to your new domain profile and set the permissions properly. If you can't, manually copy what you need from "c:\documents and settings\<old profile> to your new one. Heath

Heath,

Thanks a lot for your answer, my problem was due to access rights on the local computer.
For the old profile works in my new configuration i had to add the domain user on the local administrator group.
