I have problem on my laptop running Windows 2000 Professional. Everytime I turned on the laptop it give me an error on SPOOLSV.exe. when I tried to print I could,'t print at all and it can't find any printer even I had the printer added in there before. when I look at spooler print, it's not started even it set to start auotmatically. I can muanually started the spooler print, it will start and I will see all the printer again, butwhen I click on one of those printer SPOOLSV.exe appear again and spooler print will be turn off again

Any suggestion are greatly appreciated.
 
Start Registry Editor (Regedt32.exe)
Locate the Local Port value under the following key in the registry:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Print\Monitors\Local Port
Double-click the Driver subkey, and then edit the value. Change the string value to Localspl.dll, and then click OK.
Check the following registry key for third-party monitors. Remove any non-default monitors:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Print\Monitors
The default port monitors are:
AppleTalk Printing Devices (When Services for Macintosh is installed)
BJ Language Monitor
Local Port
PJL Language Monitor
Standard TCP/IP Port
USB Monitor
Windows NT Fax Monitor
Check the following registry key for third-party print providers. Remove any non-default print providers:
KEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Print\Providers
The default print providers are:
Internet Print Provider
LanMan Print Provider
Quit Registry Editor.
