How do I create local users with limited destop access. I want them to only be able to access certain shortcuts while hiding the rest of the applications? I need to also restrict access to any configuation changes. These standalone PCs will not be part of a Domain but will have remote support access to a local admin user with full access to the PC.

Hvae you looked at win2000 help for group polices and user administration - its quite good.

Local policies is suppose to be the answer buy they also apply to the administrator so be careful when you set them up.

M$KB Q293655 is suppose to hold the answer but I can't get it to work. Let me know if you have any luck.
