For some reason, I can't save anything in .jpg format in Microsoft Paint with Windows 2000? The only choices that I get when I click "Save As" are:

Monochrome Bitmap
16 Color Bitmap
256 Color Bitmap
24-bit Bitmap

Is there any fix to this problem? I use Microsoft Paint and the .jpg extention all the time! This is the only thing holding me from keeping Windows 2000.

BTW, I have every update available for Windows 2000 and they didn't help.

I am using Windows 2000 & get the options you listed, as well as GIF & JPG, so I'm not sure what might be causing your problem. What type of image are you trying to convert to a JPG?

I think (and hope) your problem is related to Office 2000, not Win2K.

The following link, while not related to W2K, could be helpful (do a search for it in MS web site):

298580 Some Office Graphics Filters Are Not Available in Microsoft Paint

Good luck,
Engin
