I recently installed windows 2000 NT. After rebooting, it asked for a user name and password.??? When installing I left that info blank. (except for username) When login screen appeared, I entered just my name and no password.
It did not let me in...I checked if caps was locked and still nothing...Is there a generic login password I can use to fix this problem? Any help/advice is much appreciated.

Hmm..my initial impression is you will have to reinstall Win2k. I can't believe there is a generic password that will let you log in simply because of the obvious security risks. I've used a blank password before (plenty of times actually while doing an initial server build) and its always worked. Maybe you "fat fingered" it or something, hard to say. So anyway, reinstalling the OS is what I would do. I don't think even an ERD would help in this case but I defer that possible option to my betters here on the board :)
