I have been trying to install Windows 2000 Professional with limited success. It seems the install requires over 600 MB of available disk space (thank you Bill Gates). Anyone know any command line parameters that can be used to limit the installed components and require less space.

I suggest you to just buy a bigger hard disk. There is no point, as I can see, to reduce the components from the so called "typical alternative".

I agree with Perra. If you are succefull at installing Win2000 on a 600 meg HDD (or space left) you still have an issue with the swap file size being too small. Windows will run so slow it would be frustrating.

Hope this helps

Jim
