I just did a clean install of Windows 2000 over Windows NT
4 but when starting up it still has the options to choose
Windows NT and Windows NT VGA is there a way to clear these
options?

Are you saying that NT will still run if selected, or just that the options still appear on the startup menu?

If it's the latter, I believe it's just a case of editing boot.ini and removing the entries relating to NT.
(boot.ini is a hidden system file in the root directory)

Right Click My computer go to properties. Find the advanced options tab, then select the startup and recovery tab. Inside that you should see a check box next to Time to Display list of Operating Systems. Either uncheck the box or set it to 0.
