We are looking to move our current Windows 2000 IIS 5 server which serves as our ftp and web server to a new Windows 2003 IIS 6 box. Is there a way to transfer the data from one to the other? We have a lot of virtual directories setup so that would be a pain to recreate. Thanks, Joe

I suppose look into if you can export the metabase in iis 5 and import it to 6 without problems, thats generally how I move sites that I am testing from my test vmserver to another. Then all you would need to do is move the directories, and maybe application pools (you can export these as well in 6, not 100% with 5).
