Hi

I've used PM6.5 over the past 3 years on Win95 and 98 machines.

Just gone over to Win2000NT and have trouble with one font.

Zapf Dingbats won't appear correctly on screen or print.
It comes up looking like Wingdings.

I'm using True Type fonts. I have a ton of documents using Zapf Dingbats letter S (UP arrow/triangle) and really don't want to change to another font.

I've cleared all the font matching options - but it stubbornly won't work!

Any ideas?

Thanks - Graham Laming

Hi, maharg,

You do have Zapf Dingbats installed? It can appear as a printer font when a PostScript printer driver is your "compose to printer".

If you change the "compose to printer" to a PCL printer (e.g a inkjet printer) and Zapf Dingbats disappears from the list of fonts, then it's not installed.

See AdobeForums "PM FAQ 5.11 - Printer Fonts"

Hi Big John,

Yes it's installed OK, and I'm printing to a laser jet.
If I run MS Word, the font is fine.

Any other ideas? Thanks for taking an interest!

Graham
