Windows 2000 Desktop Icons

Help! I received a new Tecra 8100 with Windows 98 loaded. I 'upgraded' to Windows 2000 and now the icons for My Computer, My Documents, My Network Places and Recycle Bin are white document icons with the MS windows logo on them. I have looked at the knowledge base on Microsoft's website, but nothing fits my situation. Any ideas out there?

I found the fix! I feel silly for not checking this first....Display properties, Effects tab, default icons. Big Duh on my part!
