When I run a script on our server, it just gives a beep and no output. I put the registry key in to get output to the browser but no luck. Anyone seen this problem? Another MS bug?

Hi,

Sorry to not answering your question but to asking a question?

I have to migrate from NT to W2k perl script that was used for administration.

Any comments or references?

Hi there,

I use perl to write CGI for 3 servers, one is NT4 with IIS4, another is Win2K pro with IIS5 and the last is another 2k but Adv Server......I have found that all my scripts run on all the servers without changing them (even things like paths etc as Windows defaults to C:).

Generally (and this includes my own machines at home) I have found that once you install perl on your server and set up the associations etc, things work...if they don't it is usually the set up on the server.

Hope this helps.

Jez
