Window2000 server recovery onto different H/W

Hi:

I am looking some steps on how to recover window2000 and Advance server , either backup using NTBackup or Veritas NetBackup 3.1 , and restore onto different hardware for DR purpose. Also, I would like to use the same approach to restore backup onto Window2000 server running under VMWare GSX.

Appreciate anyone who had tried successfully using this method. Thanks in Advance.

You can restore the Win2K server to different hardware without any issues as long as before you reboot after the restore you remove the NIC driver and Video Drivers.

What about if the new sever has a different array controller driver?
