window200, apache, domain name problem

Hi everybody,

PLEASE HELP!

I have appache installed on win 2000. I bought a domain name, and i have registered at dyndns.org to catch up the dynamis adress provided be my internet account.

Now, when i type the adress,

http://www.robo-tic.qc.ca,

it is not working.

in the httpd.conf the serverhost is
serverhost

http://www.robo-tic.qc.ca

and the port is 80

give me hints please...

Hello,

I would make the following.

1º Check that webserver is listening in the right ip(netstat -an)
2º Check that webserver is running properly using a browser in the same computer

http://localhost

3º Check that the system from wich you are connecting to the webserver is resolving to the right ip_address(nslookup)
4º Try to connect using the ip address in your browser

http://ip_address.

Your A record shows that the domain is set for IP address at:

24.201.28.45

Is this what your server has for an IP?

when I type ipconfig in win2000
I get the same ip as you...
