I hope that this problem can be resolved. I have produced an application that looks great on my monitor. Example: one of my forms takes up the whole window - as planned and set out. However, I have installed the application on a laptop and the same form displays in the top left corner of the window, leaving a gap on the bottom and right of the screen of about 3cm. Not that it looks bad at all. Is this to be expected because of the laptops high screen resolution, or is ther some window setting I am missing?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Anytime you deploy your program to a computer with a different screen resolution it will look different. If you want the window to scale to the screen size it is on you either have to write code to resize and move all of your controls appropriately (a major pain). Or I have seen a form resizer control that takes care of this for you in VB magazines. The product is called Total Components Sizer for Microsoft Visual Basic. You can check out the company's website at The conrol costs $69 for a single developer with royalty-free runtime liscense. A very small price to pay IF it works as advertised, I've never tried it. They do have a free trial version so you can try it out. Ruairi
