Hi! Folks

I can't open a text file in my driver c: or d: with the command window.open('file:///c:/text.txt').
I use Netscape 4.75 and the JavaScript Error is:
JavaScript Error: illegal URL method 'file:'

If it's not possible to use this command, what is the other way to do so ?

This should work:
<a href=&quot;file:///c:/text.txt&quot; onclick=&quot;window.open('file:///c:/text.txt'); return false&quot;>Open text.txt</a>

I got an other javascript error: missing ; before statement ....(before the onclik statement)

Thanks for your trial
