HI,

I received quite a number of window frozen from the nai sniffer.
what does that mean & what side effect will it have on the server or network?
How can it be resolved?

Frozen Windows simply mean that the reciever has advertised the same Window size for longer than the default 5 seconds. If the Window size is at least 2 times your TCP (MSS) Maximum Segment Size (1460 for Ethernet), then I wouldn't worry. If the Window Size is less than your MSS, then you may want to investigate that station to ensure it is not overloaded.
