When you print out any application no matter how small or large the document maybe the document takes a long time to print. If you look at the print que you can see why it takes so long, it just keeps on growing in size. It finally starts to print after reaching an unbelivable file size for the for size of document that you are trying to print.

Have any of you seen this before with Windows 2000 Pro. It does have the latest service patch, well sp2 anyway. So fare this is only happening to one of our workstations.

Try eliminating spooling all together by r-clicking the printer that is used by default, select properties. Select the advanced tab, then select the option print directly to the printer. Post back on the results.

I have also seen this with native 2000 HP printer drivers. When you download and install the "latest" versions from HP the problem is solved.
