Winamp plays too fast

Hi, my WinAmp went on the fritz a coule of days ago, and since then all the music I play sounds like the chipmunks version going at least at double speed. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it twice and I still got the prob. My sound card is functioning properly. Is it a bug? What else could it be? I'm running W2K on a P-IV, with 256 RAM. I've seen that posted a lot at Winamp's website. 9 times out of 10, reloading your sound card drivers fixes the problem. Or, you can also try Windows Update if that doesn't work. ~cdogg
