win9x doesn't pick up on novell's login

I have upgraded my novell client from 2.2 to 3.3. It all works OK except that win9x asks for name and password too. Before it used the novell login. If I login as admin it works as before but any other user has to type their name and password twice. What have I missed?

I had the same problem, only it was with windows 2000. To solve the problem I installed the 4.81 client. I've never seen it happen with windows 95, 98 or me.

Try the roll over funtion to take out the netware program. it's located in the novell directory or the folder you extracted your netware client. then reinstall the netware client 3.3.

If that doesen't work try deleting the pwl files from the windows directory.

Check the "network" section in "control panel". look at what clients are loaded. maybe theres something in there that's causing the problem.
