In most other Windows client OSs like Workstation and Win95, there is a simple registry hack to prevent the name of the last user who logged on to the network from showing up on the Microsoft Network Logon screen.
Normally, you use "regedit" to go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Winlogon
and change the value of DontDisplayLasyUserName to "1" instrad of "0".
However, when I try this on my Win98SE clients logging on to the Win2K servers, it DOES NOT WORK!! Any ideas?
