how do i make a back up copy of my original win98 second edition to work as a bootable CD??

the last time a make a back up of the Cd it doesnt work as one, with out the selection of either from 1. with CD support 2. Install

As far as I know, you can't make a Win 98 bootable CD. I'm pretty sure you have to have the startup floppy in there first, b/c it has the mscdex(in Win95)-driver thing that allows for CDROM support. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think you have CDROM support until you load w/ the 98 boot disk and choose "Start With CD ROM Support" on the boot options screen.

unless you have a bios that allows booting from the cd my system does you need a bootable copy of win98 and copy it
