just upgraded from 98 to Me! problem is when i send things to recycle bin, things are sent there but I can't see anything when exploring bin. If I go to empty bin computer says there are items there.

Right click on the Recycle bin on your desktop and select Properties. A new window will open. In the newly opened window select the Global tab. In this tab you will see a check box that says,” Do not move files to the Recycle bin. Remove files immediately when deleted". If the box is checked all items will be permanently deleted from your hard drive. Check this box and that should fix the problem.
Also check that each drive is set up properly if you have more than one. Navigate the tabs If you have more than one and set this property to the same as above.
