Hi,

Im using Win 98 4.10.2222. Some weeks ago I was trying to bypass a 30-days-limitation to test a piece of software changing my System Date to March 28, 2000.

The trick was sucessfull but I changed my date again after 3 days to current "Matrix Calendar" (2003)...

As a result, several folders and files now appears as created in March 28, 2000. Its driving me crazy cause I use date related organization to preserv diferent versions of the same design jobs.

With all files set as created in March 28, 2000 I can't know wich one is the latest version...

Thinking about restore my registry files to recreat the original dates, but i dont know if it is the right choice --dont know about the consequences...

Any help?

Thanks a lot

If the time stamp on a file is now different (which you can verify by booting to a different OS and viewing them, such as DOS), that's it. The stamp is changed. Restoring your registry will not help, and that is always a risky procedure.
