i have a valid (but burned) windows 98se disk but am having problems with installation. I complete the entire installation but later on i have occasional errors....one being that an occasional "windows protection error" screen. another being that windows coninuously attempts to fix the registration. it seems that my computer is failing due to previous attempts at installing windows via a pirated copy. Any ideas of whats going on? I really need help

Thanks

The fixing registration error usually flags memrory problems.

Give the wrong symptoms, get the wrong solutions.

Have you done a format and a clean install? If you have a clean install, and are getting errors, its definitely a hardware problem, otherwise format and reload.
