Folks,

I need to reload win98 on my dell notebook. Unfortunately I no longer have the win98 disc. Dell was no help. Where can I get another win98 disc?

Thanks

Try E-Bay - lots available there, purported to be unused...

see if the setup files exist under the c:\windows\options\cabs folder. if so, you can burn those to a cd or copy to another parition before the reload. this would only work if the setup.exe file was there. if its only the CAB files, it wont work.

BTW, just to make what jimp56 says a little clearer, you need the setup.exe program and all of the cabinet files (I believe they are numbered win98_22.cab through win98_60.cab, something like that, its been a long time).
