I have a Win98se Laptop running Watchguard's MUVPN client. The office has a SOHO6. The VPN establishes okay and I can ping the NT4 server but I can't connect to any resources. After trying to connect to a network share, windows asks me to enter a network password but it won't accept it (says it's incorrect). I tested this setup on an XP laptop and everything worked fine.

Check your settings for WINS and DNS. If you are running the SafeNet client with the ZoneAlarm firewall, make sure that it is allowing you to pass traffic. A quick easy way to verify this is to shutdown the ZoneAlarm firewall.

make sure you log on to the machine using a username and password that is valid on your domain. Also, place the Windows 98 machine in a workgroup with the same name as your domain
