Win3k > Win3k Slow Write over LAN

Hi,

We have 3 Win3K servers, one of the servers is performing VERY slowly when data is transfered from one of the other servers, however data being written to it from a client, works great.

IE: 3 servers: s1, s2, s3

Data Transfer from:

S1 - S3 > FAST
S1 - S2 > SLOW
S3 - S2 > SLOW
S2 - S1 > FAST
s2 - S3 > FAST
Clent - S2 > FAST

All 3 servers are Identical:

3.06 Xeon
1GB Nic
1 GB RAM
RAID 1

The server giving us problems (S2) role is: DC,GC,DNS,DHCP
Checked out the switch it is on and tested it by swapping ports with one of the other servers, made no change.

Any Thoughts??

From what you've said above it looks like its only when you move data TO S2, hence ive posted the article above - it seems like S2 is your problem.
