Dear ALl

We are having win2k3 server acting as domain controller for our office. All our workstations are windows XP, joined in the domain.

My problem is i am not getting logon / logoff
events of my workstations and server logon & logoff events in event viewer of domain controller. How do I resolve this.Kindly help

Regards
Sakthi

We have a group policy to do this on our Domain Controllers. The relevant settings can be found in Computer Configuration > Security Settings > Local Policies / Audit Policies

To meet your original request you will need to Enable auditing for success and failure for the Audit Account Logon Events setting. You might want to just audit failures if you have a large number of users as your event log can fill very quickly.

There are a number of auditing options that can be configured to set up auditing to meet further requirements you may have.
