Hi,

After i finished installing win2k pro on my hardrive, the computer rebooted itself and won't start up. The second bootup screen came on for a split second and the comp just restarted and this kept on going over and over. ???

did you make sure that your hardware was compatible with windows 2000?

also press F8 next time you boot up, and try "Last known good configuration" if all else fails, try the saft mode, and figure out whats going on. Karl

Morpheous,

Did you ever figure out what was causing this? I have a similiar problem: the PC reboots when I logon with a different User ID. The system acts as if it's going to log on, then it reboots. The next time, it usually lets you log on.
