By default when a user is only in the Local Users group of Win2k their not able to view the network properties sheet of their LAN connection.
This is fine for users onsite. Problem is sometimes when on the road (laptop users) they need access to this sheet to match settings provided by the Hotel they are staying in and I don't want to have to add them to the Power users group or Administrators group because I don't want them to have the ability to install software.
Is there a policy or some security setting I can change to allow modify access to this property sheet or am I stuck.
Thanks,
Brian
