Win2k, user profiles and IE5

I have a problem that I can't find a solution. I have been using win2k for about 8 months and just noticed that it is copying my ie5 history to all users history. It even copies to the history folder on the win98 client machine. This has been going on for at least the 3 weeks of the current history settings. We all use ie5. The client machine does not have permission and not access to the c: drive on the win2k machine.

Anyone got any ideas what is going on?
