Thanks in advance,
Using a Win2k Pc set up with Winroute, with same settings in Winroute as in a exsisting working win98 install.
The Win2k Pc and the others (win98) on the network, make successfull internet conections.
However it looks like Win2k changes the Static DSL IP as it appears from outside. When I check the IP connection on a machine I call out to, its completely different from the assigned static IP?
When I go to Steve Gibsons site to check my IP's all I get are the 2 local IP's 192.168.100.1 (its assigned and ok) then a phantom IP like 192.168.100.252, where did this come from?
I need to connect with Remote Administer to this site from my home, but can't get a handle on the real IP.
Once again thanks!
