Win2k SP4 Update rollup -- a must read

The Update Rollup contains all security updates produced for Windows 2000 between the time SP4 was released and April 30, 2005, the time when the contents of the Update Rollup were locked down for final testing by Microsoft and by external beta & customer sites. The Update Rollup also
contains a number of updates that increase system security, reliability, reduce support costs, and support the current generation of PC hardware,

Please read this KB article, it is quite interesting. I would certainly use the rollup as the basis for a slipstream image. But the notes that accompany this KB article are worth the short time to read by any Win2k admin.

Thanks, I think. This rollup certainly helps. I intend to run this guy in my managed settings. (I hope you realize this essentially answers the question is Win2k dead? or will there be an SP5. The first answer is Yes, and the second answer is No.).
