Even though a re-install of DNA on the UK server fixed the connectivity issues we had, it didn't work on our Amsterdam Server.

The problems experienced this time are worse than the ones we had in the UK. The OWS cannot get details, but can get external directory. I saw this problem once before (long time ago) and it was due to MDAC versions, as Affy rightly said in my last Sp4 post.

My advice, don't bother with SP4 for Win2k yet.

One question I would like to put to Ericsson/Damovo: How do they let customers know which versions/servicepacks are compatible with DNA/CCM etc.

Hi ButtonIt,

in fact, every time a new DNA/windows service pack is released, it is tested in all environments (NT4,Win2K and XP). If we don't find any problems the SP is approved towards our customers . anyway most of the installbase in my country are servers which are under control from damovo just to prevent that customers do the upgrades themselves...

One idea might be to ask Ericsson/Damovo BEFORE you try it!

I WOULD HAVE!!! Someone else didn't.

Hi,

Ericsson distributors have access to something called the "info channel" wich is a web site behind a login page.

On the info-channel there is a compatibility chart where Ericsson states what products have been tested with which service packs. If you are an end customer ask your distributor, they should know. (or post a question here :)

Best Regards
