Hi. Just a question about sound in Win2K. It seems that quite regularly when
I'm playing sound (or perhaps video) in Win2K (i.e. music in WinAmp, movies
in Windows Media Player, or even the system sounds (menu-clicks, etc)) and I
access the filesystem at the same time (seems to be when I'm using a shell
window to do anything like loading, saving or renaming a file), the system
willl completely lock up. I can't use the mouse, print up the ctrl-alt-del
menu, soft-reboot, etc. I have no idea about the cause of this problem - all
my drivers are up-to-date - all "support Windows 2000". I'm using a Sonic
Impact S90 sound card with a Voodoo Banshee 3dfx board on an AMD K6/2-350.
If anyone has experienced a problem similar to this, or has a solution,
please let me know. I'd really appreciate it, as this has been bugging me
for while now.

Thanks
